This error occurs in Access Capture and relates to the Access Capture: Readsoft Broker Service — the local Windows service that connects Access Capture to your Dimensions and ADM databases. The error means the Readsoft Broker Service was unable to connect to the SQL Server hosting the Dimensions database. This is an environmental issue, most likely caused by networking problems between the server hosting the Readsoft Broker Service and the SQL Server. Other common causes:
A new SQL Server is in use, but the Readsoft Broker Service is still pointing to the old one.
The SQL Server was upgraded, but remote connections have not been enabled. This is most common when the Readsoft Broker Service runs on a different server to the SQL Server.
Two instances of the Readsoft Broker Service are running on separate servers and connecting to the same SQL Server, causing one to time out.
