New Suppliers (Master Data) not transferring to Capture

This can be caused by incorrect configuration of the Kofax AP Essential Connect service. This can result in the file being continually overwritten by the system but never sent to Capture.

To resolve this:

  1. Run the application Kofax AP Essential Connect service (Readsoft Online Connect in older versions) from the Windows menu.

  2. Click Configure.

  3. Click Next several time until you reach the page showing the Master Data upload location.

  4. Ensure that the File name is set to something meaningful for each type of master data being uploaded.

  5. Ensure that all three checkboxes in the top right are ticked.

  6. Click Next until reaching the final screen and then click Save.

At this point the change will be sent to the files named above and then uploaded to Capture. This process generally runs every few minutes.

This can also be caused by the Kofax AP Essential Connect being out of date, restarting the Application should update it.
