New suppliers not transferred to Capture

If new suppliers are not transferring to Access Capture, this is usually caused by incorrect configuration of the Kofax AP Essential Connect service. Follow the steps below to resolve this.

  1. Run the application Kofax AP Essential Connect service (Readsoft Online Connect in older versions) from the Windows menu.

  2. Click Configure.

  3. Click Next several times until you reach the page showing the Master Data upload location.

  4. Ensure that the File name is set to something meaningful for each type of master data being uploaded.

  5. Ensure that all three checkboxes in the top right are selected.

  6. Click Next until you reach the final screen, then click Save.

At this point the change will be sent to the files named above and then uploaded to Capture. This process generally runs every few minutes.

This can also be caused by the Kofax AP Essential Connect being out of date. Restarting the application will update it.
