If your documents are showing as Ready for Export and have not appeared in Access Dimensions or other target system, this indicates that the documents in question are part of a batch that has not yet been completed, this is because Access Capture operates on batch processing rather than single pages.
When you scan a batch of documents into Access Capture these are referenced under a Track ID (this number can been seen when verifying in Access Capture, either under the Track ID column on the In Progress page or above the scanned image when verifying). The main Track ID is the number before the forward-slash. Each document in the batch (83 in this example) is then given a sequential number, so when scanning five documents in at once you would see Track IDs similar to the following:
ABC123-20210621-83/1
ABC123-20210621-83/2
ABC123-20210621-83/3
ABC123-20210621-83/4
ABC123-20210621-83/5
In this example the Track ID is ABC123-20210621-83 (comprising your company code, the date and the batch number) and the numbers after the slash represent the document number within the batch.
Access Capture will not run the export process until all five of the above documents have been processed.
There is a process whereby it is possible to Manually send these completed documents to the target system. To do this within Access Capture:
Click In Progress.
Note the Track ID of the documents in 'Ready For Export'.
To change the view from individual documents to batches, click Batches.
Select the row of a Batch intended to be sent to the target system that contains at least one document in 'Ready For Export'.
Click the right facing arrow, Send Complete Documents icon. This will now start to send all documents in 'Ready For Export' to the target system and will update shortly after with either a 'Successfully Processed' or 'Export Failed' depending on the response from the target system.
If none of the above allow the documents to be exported then please see the following Get support in Access Capture and reference the title of this article.
