If Capture is not detecting the invoice number or other details on documents in the same layout and with the same supplier that it has historically there has likely been a change to either the input method of the document or the Document is going to a different Buyer within Capture.

If this is not the case and the document maintains the same input method, is the same document layout and is on the same Buyer then Capture should not perform worse over time. However, if this does appear to have happened there is unfortunately no way to resolve it other than going through the learning process again. Such as using the CTRL + Click and Drag to highlight values on the document that it did not automatically detect.

When a user corrects a document during verification, Capture uses the corrected data to improve the online learning information on subsequent documents for that supplier. As online learning improves, data extraction also improves. However, if a user accidentally draws a field incorrectly on a document from this supplier, it can alter the online learning, causing a decrease in extraction performance on subsequent documents. To prevent this it is possible to "lock" the online learning process - please see the Capture help for more information in Readsoft Online Overview > Online Learning.

There is no change that can be made by Support to accelerate learning in Capture, nor is it possible to revert to previous state in Capture where documents had better detection.
